Since his ex-girlfriend Lauren Bolton returned to the cobbles, viewers of Coronation Street have witnessed Max Turner become embroiled in a love triangle.

The protracted love triangle between Max Turner (Paddy Bever) and the two women in his life appeared to be boring Coronation Street viewers.

When his ex-girlfriend Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) visited Weatherfield, things became more problematic for him because he had begun to feel something for Sabrina Adetiba (Luana Santos).

The two women had been vying for his attention, with the second woman making it plain she was still interested.

Although it appears that people are unimpressed with the love triangle, some are urging Lauren to return to the cobbles.

I’m not a Max hater by this sub’s standards, but I am SO BORED of this storyline,” user calculatingmacaw wrote on Reddit.

“Love triangles need to be thrilling, with a who-will-be-chosen, will-they-won’t-they feel. Not two strong, independent women—Sabrina being by much the more endearing of the two—battling Max’s rainy weekend.

“Can we just move Gav and Sabrina in with David and Shona and send Max and Lauren off into the sunset?”

HaroldWeigh’s remark that Gav and Sabrina are two of the best new characters seemed to be echoed by many others. Max and Lauren lack both intrigue and appeal. Could Sabrina and Gav find a home on the Street and establish themselves as recurring characters?”

Added Bumbleina, “I don’t mind Max. Was loving seeing him with Sabrina when Lauren returned and wrecked everything. Without her, things could have just hummed along beautifully.

official ITV soap opera spoilers Next week, Lauren vents her resentment on the salon as her envy reaches a boiling point.

She completely destroys everything, and after being caught on suspicion of inflicting criminal damage, she worries about her future.

Actor Paddy Bever discussed the tumultuous connection and what might lie next for the teenagers.

I think he’s accepted that his heart is partly with Sabrina, he added, adding that Lauren is his heart and Sabrina is his head.

“I believe Max is beginning to see that just because Sabrina wasn’t his first love, that doesn’t mean he can’t feel the same way for her.

“Even if you get married and have kids, you’ll never love anyone as much as your first love.

But let’s hope that Max and Sabrina become a little power couple since I believe she is a great match for him.
