Five years after leaving Albert Square, a recognizable EastEnders star is returning.

Following a brief return in December for the funeral of Dot Cotton and a guest appearance in June for Cindy Beale’s comeback, Jacqueline Jossa, who plays Lauren Branning, is ready to make an explosive return to Walford.

thirty years old I’m A Star… Take Me Away From Here! Winner is expected to cause some trouble in her forthcoming episodes, but specifics are being withheld.

Upon her return, Jacqueline exclaimed, “I’m so excited.” The excitement around EastEnders at the moment makes it such a wonderful time to return.

I’ve been enjoying it like a fan while I’ve been watching.

“Walford holds a special place in my heart, so it really does feel like coming home,” she continued, according to The Sun on Sunday.

There is “a lot of history,” a TV insider remarked, teasing intriguing events to come.

Bosses are keeping quiet, though, to give fans the best possible experience.

The character has a lot of history and unfinished business; she will undoubtedly provide drama, according to a TV insider.

Bosses are being coy about when viewers will see her return to television.

“But it’s set to be around the end of the year and probably to coincide with the legendary holiday storylines of the soap,” says the author.

According to the source, Jacqueline’s former castmates are eager to work with her since she is “such a pro” and has a “great sense of humor.”

According to rumors, Jacqueline’s initial plot line after returning will involve her life becoming entwined with Michelle Collins’ character Cindy, who has come back from the dead.

In a few weeks, the mother and fashion blogger will begin filming on the renowned set in Elstree, Herts.

Executive producer Chris Clenshaw expressed his “delight” at having helped bring her back to the Square.

We hadn’t seen Lauren on-screen in a while, but when she returned, there was still a lot of unresolved business between her and the Beales,’ he told The Sun.

We are happy to have Jacqueline back in the Square as she carries on the Branning family tradition of being at the center of the drama in Walford.

Jacqueline, who is married to former Towie actor Dan Osborne, started EastEnders in 2010 at the age of just 17.

She has definitely experienced her share of dramatic events over the years, such as tumbling off a roof with her sister Abi on Christmas Day, when her sister tragically passed away.

After leaving the popular soap in 2018, Jacqueline won the title of Queen of the Jungle the following year and then signed a $1 million contract with fast fashion behemoth In The Style.

Ella, 8, and Mia, 5, are their children, and she has been married to Dan, 32, for six years.
