The women’s Euro 2022 final was introduced on BBC One by former football player and TV host Alex Scott, together with Iant Wright, Gabby Logan, and Arsenal head coach Jonas Eidevall. They were all nicely attired to show their support for the Lionesses, but Alex attracted the attention of the audience since she was wearing a patriotic garment.
Alex looked stunning in an all-black bodycon dress with red rose embellishments, gold earrings, and a sleek, high ponytail.
Many enthusiastic fans were astounded by her appearance and turned to social media to comment on her attire. As Mary Kinsella said: “Wow! Alex Scott maintains her beauty and has worn a really patriotic attire to show her support.” Added Natalie Maltan “Never fails to impress, Alex Scott! She appears to be stunning. The Lionesses, hurry.”
lauded by @Mary Mary Cont7 “Alex Scott deserves respect for keeping his makeup minimal and for not overdoing it. Beautiful.”
@Chlo BowX cried out: “I ADORE ALEX’S GOWN! She appears stunning.”
Without regard to the outcome, John Portman said: “Wanted to take a time to congratulate the Lioness’ but also Alex Scot… what a stunner.”
I realize this is about the Euro 2022 final and their performance, but Alex Scott and Ian Wright are looking so dapper,” Paul Innings said. (sic)
Alex Scott made 140 appearances for the England national team while playing right defender for Arsenal in the FA WSL.
Before retiring in 2017 and gaining an MBE for her contributions to football, she also played 140 times for the Lionesses, including at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
However, it was a disappointing defeat for the group in 2009, and Alex recently reflected on the pain on her own Twitter account.
The pain of seeing the Germans take the trophy in 2009 and having to walk past it has never left me as a footballer, she wrote in a tweet.
“Hopefully tomorrow’s feelings will be very different. See you at Wembley @Lionesses and good night.” She yelled after their victory on Tuesday: “Is this actually happening? All sides [of the game] have been displayed by England throughout this tournament, which is unquestionably to their credit.” A pure and intelligent England found a way back into the game and defeated Sweden today. You’ve seen them struggle in their first game, blow out Norway, and be on the ropes against Spain. “England has had various players rise up in every single game.”
Since first on the field, the Lionesses have dominated the competition. On Tuesday night, they destroyed Sweden 4-0.After defeating France on Wednesday night, Martina Voss-team Tecklenburg’s will face Germany in the championship game tonight (July 27). The Euro 2022 championship game will be played at London’s Wembley Stadium, which has 90,000 seats and is the second-largest stadium in Europe.
