The boxing champ hit the town alongside his stunning wife Faryal Makhdoom
As he entered Manchester, Amir Khan didn’t make an effort to remain undetected. The boxing champion went out with his gorgeous wife Faryal Makhdoom. The couple was photographed in the city’s center while attending the opening of a brand-new restaurant.
At the enormous new all-you-can-eat sushi and steak restaurant Sakky Samba, which has opened in the former Artisan and Manchester House premises in Spinningfields, they joined a few other notable faces. Brazilian dancers welcomed the attendees, giving the impression that it was quite the party.
Amir and Faryal were among the first diners at the restaurant, which offers a combination of Brazilian and Japanese cuisine, on Tuesday night (July 26).
As they arrived at the launch event, the couple appeared closer than ever. Farayl joined arms with her man, who grinned for the waiting camera. The two then posed for several pictures while holding hands. Amir, 35, went all out as he dressed in a dazzling white shirt with colorful crown adornments and a brilliant orange inside the collar. With a pair of navy blue jeans and a pair of maroon and white sneakers, he softened the outfit.
As always, Faryal wore a half-blazer dress in black with a plunging neckline, a sheer hem with lace accents, and a matching black belt to cinch in her waist. Adding just a touch of silverShe wore black heels and jewelry with a hint of the same color, and she was holding a clutch purse. Both the couple and the showgirls outside the restaurant, who were dressed in vibrant, barely-there feathery dresses, were spotted posing together. Model Rhian Sugden and The Apprentice actress Amy Anzel also attended the event, along with Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd and his girlfriend Hanni.
Amir debuted his brand-new Manchester property earlier this month, which has a gym, a lake, and a play area for kids. According to the Express, Amir reportedly said in a TikTok video: “At the house, Manchester, gorgeous. Beautiful, my gym is right there, but I doubt I’ll use it now that we’re retired. What do you guys think? The backyard is fantastic; with the beautiful weather, we can have numerous barbecues there. Do some barbecues and such things.” We have the grill set up and everything, but I doubt I’ll be swimming. There is a hot tub that has practically everything. There is a children’s play area, so we must certainly make sure the children will enjoy it.”
It happens after Amir made his official retirement from professional boxing, which spanned 17 illustrious years, known back in May. Before turning professional in 2005 and becoming the light welterweight world champion, the athlete enjoyed a 10-year amateur career.
The 35-year-old announced his retirement from the sport after his most recent fight, which took place in February at Manchester’s AO Arena against fierce rival Kell Brook, was stopped in the sixth round.
