The pair were seen beaming for a snap as they arrived in the seaside town to watch the darts
When Claire Sweeney announced that she and Ricky Hatton were visiting Blackpool, fans reacted quickly. When they arrived in the seaside town to watch the darts, the two were seen grinning for a picture.
The couple went to the renowned Winter Gardens Empress Ballroom, home of the 2024 World Matchplay Darts. The Coronation Street actress Claire posted a photo of the two on Instagram with the famous Blackpool Tower in the background, writing, “Off to the Darts in Blackpool with @rickyhitmanhatton.”
The stunning actress, clad in an all-black racer neck jumpsuit, grinned for the camera while her man, dressed in complementary colors, was wrapped around her arm.
And her supporters and admirers answered right away. remarked @mrsoliviasutton: “Maybe we could pause for the dress? Beautiful as usual.” @haribo_delights left a comment: “Girl, Claire, you look amazing! Being in love is a great fit for you.” @patriciabuglass stated: “Enjoy yourself immensely. Lovely photo of the two of you.”
The reply from @k.chandler1964 was, “Lovely photo of you lovely guys.” “Congratulations you too, amazing people!” was posted by @mikesalord. I’m overjoyed to see these two incredibly special people enjoying life to the fullest and having a blast at the darts.” “You two look incredible together,” @trudi_day1 continued. So content and in love.”
It happens after what appears to have been a significant step in their relationship. Supporters of the two are deeply involved in their recent romance, which started earlier this year. Former boxer Ricky, also known as “The Hitman,” revealed recently that he and actress Claire had known each other for over 20 years, but their romance didn’t really take off until they collaborated on Dancing on Ice earlier this year.
In line with the narrative, Claire, who is presently starring on ITV’s Corrie as Cassie Plummer, recently stated on the show Lorraine: “I’ve known Ricky for, like, 25 years.” We would frequently pass one another at events.
“We collaborated on a TV program. I first got to know him in the early 2000s, and in 2013 we participated in Dance for Comic Relief. “We both like Only Fools and Horses, so what’s not to like?” the former Brookside star said, before going on to say, “We met on Dancing on Ice and it’s great.”
Actress Claire, 53, and former boxer Ricky, 45, have been spotted together at events and having fun in the sun since they announced their relationship. They first traveled to Tenerife together before returning recently for a long weekend in Mallorca with his family.
Then, Ricky disclosed last week that he had met Claire’s mother. The athlete, who was born in Stockport, posted pictures from their trip to see Jonathan Harvey’s new play, Sisters of Mersey, at Liverpool’s Royal Court Theatre on social media. He also brought Claire along.
“Excellent night last night @royalcourtliv with my @claire,” Ricky captioned the photo.Watching Sisters of Mersey with our friend @lindzigermain is so sweet. It was great to meet Claire’s beautiful mother Kathy and to catch up with my former mucka, @wacker678. Fantastic evening with outstanding individuals.”
