Watchers of Coronation Street on ITV witnessed Paul Foreman make a significant decision regarding his future during Monday’s episode.
Fans of Coronation Street believe they know when Peter Ash’s character, Paul Foreman, will succumb to multiple sclerosis. The fan favorite’s health has been progressively declining over the previous few months, leading to a diagnosis of the condition last year.

Paul had already decided that he wanted to pass away on his own terms, acquiring medications to use at the appropriate time. Watchers were treated to devastating moments last week as he made the decision to commit suicide while in the arms of his husband, Daniel Brocklebank’s Billy Mayhew.

But Paul’s plan was derailed when Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) interrupted them. He informed Billy in the most recent installment that he would be staying for his impending birthday as he made a significant life decision.

He revealed to Billy that, contrary to his initial decision to end his life, he has changed his mind and would want to pass away naturally. Despite the fact that ITV viewers think they know exactly when Paul will die on the cobbles.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: “I think Paul’s death will be in September.”

Another fan wrote: “Storyline with Paul is breaking my heart. I feel for them all

“Paul’s gonna die around his birthday on August 24th” tweeted one viewer.

Someone else added: “I think deep down Paul doesn’t want to end it all. That’s why he keeps stalling.”

Praising the emotional scenes, another commented: “Billy and Paul scenes are so strong even in today’s episode.”

Paul’s death appears to be imminent given that the Coronation Street ensemble was seen filming funeral sequences this week.

Paul’s closest friends and family were shown in pictures released by Metro looking somber as they remembered their loved one.

Along with his mother Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove), twin sister Gemma Brown (Dolly-Rose Campbell), daughter Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby), and Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce), his spouse was spotted at the burial.

David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd), Kirk Sutherland (Andy Whyment), Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin), Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges), and George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) were among the other characters seen at the poignant scene.

Attendees included his long-lost brother Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), yet viewers remain skeptical about Kit’s true motivations with his family.

A recent special episode that was narrated from Paul’s perspective and highlighted his inner thoughts and frustrations over his situation was seen by fans.
Actor Peter Ash stated of the moving special, “I feel incredibly proud to have worked on this episode.” I could not stop crying, so I knew it was going to be something truly exceptional from the time I read the screenplay!

“It was a pleasure to capture Paul’s inner monologue, demonstrating to us that despite MND, the mind remains 100% functional. Considering that everyone involved gave it their all, I hope the audience appreciates it!
