Coronation Street star Nigel Havers has shared that he may return to the long-running ITV show as he shared his thoughts while on Good Morning Britain
Coronation Street legend Nigel Havers has teased an epic return from the dead after his character was killed off in 2019.
The dashing 72-year-old appeared on Tuesday’s Good Morning Britain to discuss his fruitful career and his latest TV project. Nigel is currently hosting Channel 5’s historical programme, Sandringham: A Royal Residence where he delves into the secrets of Sandringham House and its vast 20,000-acre estate.
But as the interview with GMB’s Ed Balls and Ranvir Singh came to an end, the pair couldn’t help but question Nigel’s Corrie stint and whether he’ll make an epic comeback. Although Nigel’s character Lewis was given the choo, Nigel hinted a return.
Wrapping up their chat, Ranvir shared her amazement that so many subjects were covered with Nigel and said: “Politics, Olympics, the Royals- there’s nothing you can’t do! We didn’t even talk about Corrie– we always talk about Corrie!”
Nigel replied: “We always talk about Corrie. You never know I may come back!”
