On the day that would have been their first wedding anniversary, an emotional Billy Mayhew gets ready for Paul’s funeral following ongoing arguments with his mother-in-law about the kind of farewell he should have for his late husband. Billy tells Paul’s estranged father Denny to behave and stay out of sight, but the vicar is shocked to discover him staggering around the church in the shadows.
Todd Grimshaw, Summer Spellman, Kit Green, David Platt, Chesney Winter-Brown, and Dee-Dee Bailey carry Paul’s casket down the aisle as his send-off gets began, with Bernie Winter and her daughter Gemma trailing behind.
