There’s plenty of drama in Weatherfield next week as Coronation Street’s Toyah Battersby shares her heartbreaking secret and Todd Grimshaw is back up to his old tricks again
Drama on Coronation Street will be plenty next week, for sure.
While searching the park for her missing dog, Freddie, Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) comes finds three detectives working on a rose bed. They say they observed the dog digging in the same spot, so they surmise that Roy Cropper (David Neilson) may have buried Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) body there.
After hearing this, Toyah see’s red, picks up a shovel and smashes their car window whilst one of the sleuths film her on his phone. When Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) returns home, he finds Toyah in tears as she reveals that at 19 she gave birth to a stillborn baby girl, she kept it a secret and she buried her in the exact same place in the park that she found the sleuths digging up.
Elsehwere As Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) puts George Shuttleworth’s (Tony Maudsley) will back in the file, he discovers a copy of Archie Shuttleworth’s will and quickly hides it inside his pocket. What has Todd discovered? Also, Joel Deering thanks Dee-Dee Bailey for coming with him to meet his daughter and tries to kiss her but how will Dee-Dee respond?
