After spotting the fake t-shirts, Beth brings them to Sid in the ginnel, but just as he’s about to give him the money, Craig and Kit come over, curious as to what’s going on. Now that Sid’s offer of employment has been withdrawn, Beth asks Carla whether she can go back to the workplace.
In the meantime, Stu witnesses Betsy and Mason taking food. Stu offers Mason a place at No. 6 after Mason discloses that he is homeless, but Mason advises him to take his compassion elsewhere.
Mason accepts Stu’s offer to work as a pot washer, a move that turns out to be quite controversial.
Mason tells Betsy he’s ready for trouble, and she cautions Dylan not to mess with him since, as a restaurant employee, he has access to some pretty sharp blades.
Dylan clearly fears Mason, so Sean decides to make things right and storms into Speed Dahl to face Stu and Yasmeen. Mason learns from Betsy that she informed Dylan that he was carrying a weapon. Mason, irritated, says he can fight his own fights.
In another scene on the soap opera, Lauren is scared while her son, who was born early, is in an incubator. When Swain gets at the hospital, he wants to question Lauren.
Joel is reminded by Betsy that he owes her money because he threw her out of his car in the middle of a rough estate. Joel fumes.
Joel later peruses Betsy’s social media accounts. Unaware Dee-Dee believes it’s time to schedule their honeymoon.
Joel snaps and pulls Betsy into the ginnel as she threatens to reveal that he picks up young females in exchange for £100.
In other soap opera news, Fiz is shocked to run into Alina in the parking lot of Fresco’s, who informs her that she has been called as a witness in a trial. Will she let Tyrone know that his ex is back?
When Cassie at the taxi stand notices the client’s name on an airline reservation, her eyes enlarge. After helping Alina get into the car and taking Steve’s cab, she drives Alina directly to Tyrone’s appointment on Coronation Street. Alina is enraged to learn that she was tricked.
To Fiz’s surprise, Hope dumps Sam in the interim and shows a dramatic increase in interest in Jack.
Hope then goes to see Dr. Gadass, desiring to start taking medication. She tells her to talk to her family and provides her some contraceptives.
Throughout the soap opera, Nick is left to go with Toyah after Leanne doesn’t say anything nice before her appointment.
Leanne is informed by Rowan that she has been chosen by Willow to oversee the new resource center, and he has scheduled a meeting with a possible investor. Rowan presents Leanne to Grant before sending her off to make her presentation.
