They joined their Corrie co-stars at the ITV soap’s summer bash
If their most recent video is any indication, Elle Mulvaney and Harriet Bibby from Coronation Street seemed to have a fantastic time during the ITV soap’s summer party. On Thursday night, the ensemble of the popular television show was seen having a good time (July 28)
Guests for the soap’s summer party were Corrie stalwarts Barbara Knox and Bill Roache (a.k.a. Rita Tanner and Ken Barlow), who were hounded by fans on their approach to the restaurant. The event was held at celebrity hangout The Ivy in Spinningfields. The well-known couple were seen making stops to pose for photos and sign autographs.
Many members of the cast and crew of the show joined them, including Jodie Prenger, who has yet to appear on-screen as George Shuttleworth’s sister Glenda on Corrie, and Tina O’Brien, who portrays Sarah Barlow on the ITV soap and posed hot outside The Ivy while flaunting her amazing figure in a black bandeau top and feathered skirt.
The Shona Platt actress Julia Goulding contributed to the glitz by flaunting her growing baby tummy in a form-fitting black outfit. She grinned for the cameras as she arrived arm-in-arm with co-star and off-screen friend Daniel Brocklebank, who plays Billy Mayhew in the ITV serial opera. He looked dapper with a black t-shirt, jacket, and slim grey checkered pants.
But Elle and Harriet, who respectively portray Amy Barlow and Summer Spellman in the ITV soap opera, seemed to have missed the approaching cameras. They were present, though, and have subsequently posted pictures from the tropical-themed party on social media.
Before leaving for the Manchester city center, Elle, 19, posed in a plunging peachy dream little dress at her house and looked amazing. She accessorized her summery getup with a pair of white block heels, a clutch bag that matched, and straightened, newly coloured mousey blonde hair.
Meanwhile, Harriet brought some color to the proceedings as well. The 25-year-old serial star looked gorgeous in a blue dress with a halter neck that was embellished with yellow flowers. Her blonde hair was curled into bouncy waves, and she applied a hint of blue makeup to her face to match her clothing. The duo, who are intimate both on and off-screen, could be seen posing in their happy rags before entering the party in a recently published TikTok video. The females reappeared looking considerably different as the music, a remix of Last Night (Beer Fear) by Lucy Spraggan, changed from the line: “Last night I told you I loved you” to “Woke up blamed it on the vodka.”Their makeup had been removed to reveal their natural beauty, although Elle was still visible holding her face in her palm while donning a grey AC/DC shirt and some trousers. Despite this, Harriet kept a smile on her face and performed a small dance while wearing an enormous grey shirt and matching joggers before the two started laughing over their current situation.
With one of the comments, their co-star Jack James Ryan, who portrays Amy’s on-screen lover Jacob Hay, asked: “Who are those first two girls?” Elle responded: “What about the second one in the AC DC top,” to which Jack added: “Yeah she’s cute, I can’t lie.”
Additionally, fans were posting remarks. Others were bewildered, thinking they were seeing Corrie’s Summer and Amy – only to realize they were. Violetbutler laughed: “Wait how did you both go from being like 21 to 16 in a matter of seconds.” Molly Kimbarly responded: “Beautiful, but how are you wearing pants hungover.”
