The actress, 51, is best known for playing Underworld knicker stitcher on the ITV soap, but looked worlds away from her alter-ego in a new Instagram post on

Beth is known for wearing leopard print outfits or denim jackets and often sports a blonde up-do with pigtails, but Lisa opted for a smart white jacket and pink miniskirt away from the set.

While showcasing her now-tiny waist and slender legs, she captioned the snap: ‘Pink and cream should be seen’

In a second selfie, the actress wrote: ‘Twiggy style in pin’, a nod to the fashion icon who was named so because of her stick thin figure.

Earlier this year, Lisa told MailOnline that her weight loss came as a result of the menopause and she was ‘loving’ her new weight.

She said: ‘I’ve been through the menopause, am using a sensor so I can check my sugar levels and keep my diabetes under control and I’ve had a complete overhaul of my diet.

‘I’ve always eaten really healthily but with everything going on with my eyes and my Diabetes I went to see a nutritionist.

‘I cut out so much from my diet and am a stone lighter than I was last year. I’m loving the weight I’m at now. I went out on Friday and wore a velvet suit that was a size 10. I have not been in a size 10 since I was 28!’

Lisa arrived on the cobbles in 2011 to go on an ill-fated date with taxi driver Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and later married Kirk Sutherland (Andy Whyment), although the marriage became void when it was revealed she had not divorced her first husband.

Her on-screen son Craig is played by Celebrity Big Brother star Colson Smithwho has also been on a massive weight loss journey

And just before that, Lisa explained that she would like to try her hand at dramas such as Call The Midwife.
