Coronation Street’s Adam Barlow, played by Sam Robertson, left viewers swooning during the latest episode. The lawyer was seen in a different light as he spoke to Dee-Dee Bailey Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) about her stepping back from her role due to recent drama with ex Joel Deering (Calum Lill).

He told Dee-Dee: “I’ve been on to the solicitors regulation authority and I’ve told them you are straight as a dye.” Dee-Dee replied: “Thank you. But? ” Adam continued: “Now the police are looking into it. No smoke without fire and all that.”

An apologetic Adam continued: “Sorry, I don’t think you’re head is fully in the game right now. It’s part of duty of care. I can keep things ticking over and you’ll be on full pay.”

As she got up to leave the office, Dee-Dee told Adam: “Guess it makes sense. “You do realise this is what Joel wanted. ” Adam was later seen reassuring Dee-Dee by giving her hug.”
