Could this be the end of two long-term romances?
The return of Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) to Weatherfield has caused Tyrone (Alan Halsall) and Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) to relive past traumas.
Alina revealed to her ex-partner Tyrone that she is the father of her small kid, Dorin.
Tyrone and his new-found son grew increasingly closer in tonight’s episode.
He took care of Dorin while Alina got ready to testify in court and attend a meeting.
Despite maintaining a brave facade, Fiz was inwardly troubled and concerned that Tyrone and Alina’s past romance would rekindle.
She sobbed as Evelyn discovered her confiding in her: “It’s all the phone calls, all the skulking around, all the secrecy.”
“They have to meet in secrecy, you know, so that she’s not seen.
“I’m not being funny but if she was actually that much at risk, don’t you think the police would’ve put her in some kind of safe house?”
Evelyn reassured Fiz that Tyrone doesn’t want to lose her again.
Later, Alina was confronted by a thug who barged into her hotel room and threatened her against giving evidence.
Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) was nearby and intervened to scare the attacker off.
