After his mother Marian’s funeral, EastEnders actor Dean Gaffney received a flood of sympathy, with former co-stars and other soap opera actors expressing their sympathies as he uploaded a photo from the event.

He posted a picture of the funeral program on Instagram with the caption, “Gone but NEVER forgotten… ” : December 23, 1953 13/08/23 Sunset
Mom, you are missed and loved today, tomorrow, and always.

Joe Swash, who said: “Dean, all our thoughts and prayers are with you friend, was among those expressing their tributes. The kids, Stacey, and I are considering you. Welcome to join us for dinner.

‘I’m very sorry Dean,’ tweeted Luisa Bradshaw-White, who played Tina Carter. Richard Blackwood, a.k.a. Vincent Hubbard, said, “Sending you my love,” and “Sending condolences, my bro.”

Helen Flanagan and Andy Whyment from Coronation Street, Danny Miller from Emmerdale, Stephanie Waring, and Stephanie Waring’s red heart emoji commenter Stephanie Waring also sent Dean notes of support.

Last month, the actor made the tragic announcement of Marian’s passing, claiming he was “broken” by it.

Dean wrote: “I am simply broken to share that my beautiful, selfless mother Marian has sadly passed away,” along with several images of himself and his mother. I was raised as a mummy’s boy and will be one forever, so this news has absolutely shocked me.

‘I spoke to her daily, and in some ways, I’m glad it was me who discovered her dozing off.

I will never forget the wonderful times we had together, and even while I realize that everyone will experience pain at some point in their lives, 69 is never too old to experience it.

‘To know I will never be able to physically see or speak to her ever again is beyond any pain I’ve ever experienced in my life,’ he continued.

Dean made a comeback to television earlier this year as a candidate on I’m A Celebrity All Stars, which brought illustrious contestants back to a camp in South Africa to determine who would win the competition.

Even though there are no plans for Robbie Jackson to return, the grandfather of two predicted last year that he would.

When Robbie was fired in 2000, Dean addressed the subject and remarked, “I have a self-destruct button and people can’t understand why I press it, I have no idea why I pressed it.”

They told me, “You are either really bad at picking women or you need to sort it out, you need to go off and find out why you are doing these things,” and I don’t blame them. I believe EastEnders just said, “Enough is enough.”
