Fans of EMMERDALE believe that the horrific abuse story involving Belle Dingle and Tom King may have a shocking death twist.
Fans of the ITV soap opera have started to conjecture that the recent, horrifying plot will involve the passing of a legendary character.
Fans are aware that Steve Halliwell, the actor who portrayed Belle’s father Zak on screen, died away at the age of 77 last year after battling a number of health problems.
At the time, Steve’s family released a statement praising his extraordinary life and legacy.
In a statement, Emmerdale also paid homage to one of the longest-running characters on the show.
Viewers now believe that Zak’s death on screen and funeral will be closely related to Belle, his daughter, being abused by her evil husband right now.
For several months, Tom has been mistreating Belle and trying to exert control over various aspects of her life.
Zak has been staying in Scotland with Debbie Dingle while all of this is going on.
Fans have predicted that Debbie will come back to inform the family of Zak’s passing, allowing Tom to maintain control over Belle.
A supporter wrote on the internet: “I personally think Debbie will return to the village and come to Wishing Well Cottage and gather all the Dingle’s and tell them about Zak.”
This was followed by the shocking theory: “I think they’ll probably find a way of linking Zak’s death to the Belle/Tom abuse storyline – perhaps Tom will stop Belle from attending Zak’s funeral. (I hope I’m wrong about this though! )”.
Somebody else speculated: “Or more likely Tom refusing to let her visit Zak when he is sick, and Zak ends up dying.”
