The Emmerdale actor Bradley Johnson recently revealed that he is expecting his first child with fiancée Sammie Johnstone.
Bradley, who has been starring in the ITV soap opera as Vinny Dingle since 2019, shared the happy news with his Instagram followers.
Bradley announced that the baby is due in December 2024 in a charming post that included images of a delectable-looking cake and the caption, “Mum and Dad,” with a love heart emoji.
Along with a personalised baby grow and a cute video showcasing their scan and other images, the couple also shared some adorable Polaroids of themselves holding the baby scan photos.
His Emmerdale co-stars were quick to congratulate him in the comments of the post, with Victoria Sugden actress Isabel Hodgins saying that she is, ‘so happy for you both’.
Lisa Riley, who plays on-screen mum Mandy Dingle, couldn’t contain her excitement as she wrote: ‘LOVE YOU BOTH SO SO SO SO MUCH. At long long last I can tell everyone-you are both going to be the absolute BEST!!! YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! So excited!!!! I’ve said congratulations to you both over a hundred times.’
Amelia Spencer actress Daisy Campbell penned, ‘Congratulations!!! So happy for u and ur little fam,’ while Dean Andrews, who plays Will Taylor, wrote: ‘Mate, I could not be happier for you both. Massive congrats.’

After dating for about two years, Bradley and Sammie announced their engagement in October 2023.
Bradley shared on Instagram that he had proposed to Sammie while on vacation in Italy, exchanging romantic kisses in front of the Coliseum.
In Emmerdale, Vinny, a character, is having trouble in his romantic life. He has recently started to develop feelings for Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham).
Even though she felt the same way about him, Vinny struggled with the idea of losing his virginity and ultimately pushed her away, insisting that their relationship was limited to friendship.
