This week on EastEnders, there will be more drama as Ian Beale is exposed for lying, Anna Knight is admitted to the hospital, and a Walford wedding is planned.

Next week, viewers of EastEnders may anticipate heartache, bombshells, and a hospital run.

Under the stern disapproval of his son Peter Beale (Thomas Law), Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) prepares to depart for his purported leadership training in forthcoming scenes of the BBC One soap opera.

After examining the items in Ian’s bag, suspicious Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) confronts Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylorth), whom she believes is lying on behalf of her son.

Cindy goes to Beale’s Eels to question her partner whether he’s having an affair after talking to Kathy, but he assures her he isn’t. But Cindy finds something else that makes her believe differently, so she gets her ex-husband George Knight (Colin Salmon) drive her to an address that isn’t quite clear.

Cindy lies awake later in the week, worn out from the previous two days. Cindy goes home to talk to Ian, but things don’t go as planned as Ian divulges yet another startling secret. Peter shows up to comfort Cindy after she heads to The Vic for a drink.

In another scene, Freddie Slater (Bobby Beale), Gina Knight (Francesca Henry), and Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) are invited by Felix Baker (Matthew James Morrison) to spend the evening at the club. As the two get ready for their night out, Gina questions Anna on whether Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) is the perfect man for her, but Anna is adamant that Bobby is the one.

When the group discovers that Anna is nowhere to be found despite their suspicions that she may have been drugged, they quickly start to worry for her welfare.

After being spiked, Anna awakens in the hospital. Gina tries to persuade her to call the police after returning to The Vic, but she is certain that she does not want to. When Freddie notices Gina is stressed up, he comes to help Anna.

The events of the last several days have Bobby anxious about his connection with Anna, but when she admits that she was spiked, he quickly loses interest. Bobby offers encouragement, but he unintentionally steps on it, so Anna walks out.

Freddie makes an effort to assist Bobby and Anna. Later, Anna informs George about the spiking while following Freddie’s advise. George is approached by Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) in the laundry, who urges him to express his love for Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe). Afterwards, George decides what to do and informs Elaine that they ought to begin considering a wedding date.
