Balvinder Sopal’s character Suki Panesar surprised everyone and their dog this week by declaring that she was returning with Nish. She has had a very busy week, as she and the other women who were involved in Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) killing on Christmas Day went to the police station for a new interview.
When Nish heard them talking about their made-up story that implicated Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo), he became skeptical. He later took Suki’s phone from her kitchen table and texted Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), suggesting that Suki had revealed the murderous celebration.
This week, Suki Panesar, played by Balvinder Sopal, shocked everyone and their dog by announcing that she would be returning with Nish. She has been really busy this week since she went to the police station for a follow-up interview with the other women who were engaged in the Christmas Day murder of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
Nish got doubtful when he overheard them discussing their fabricated tale that implicated Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo). He implied that Suki had disclosed the murderous celebration when he subsequently snatched her phone from her kitchen table and texted Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth).
He told Suki that he wanted retribution on Eve in return for his quiet after hearing all the gory details.
Later, when Nish announced he would not be going to the police to confess after all, Suki was standing outside the house, assessing the seriousness of the situation.
Suki and Nish had supper together in the episode that aired tonight. Suki went to the Minute Mart for some alone time after they decided they needed wine. Stacey came looking for an update after she sent Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) home.
By this time, Suki was crying and told Stacey that their plan didn’t seem to be working.
Nish was alone herself and growing irate as they conversed. By the time Suki came back, a furious Nish had vented his rage on her, questioning why she was no longer able to love him.
Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James), Stacey, and Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) entered as Nish shoved Suki onto the table.
As Avani yelled at her grandfather to stop, Stacey yanked Nish away from Suki. The two characters conversed in the kitchen as Avani was alarmed by Nish’s sinister actions.
She claimed that although she loves Nish, she is aware that Suki doesn’t, and that he will let her go if he has any good intentions.
Seeing Avani completely frightened seemed to be enough to clear Nish’s head. He had listened to someone for the first time in what seemed like an eternity.
Then Nish walked out of the Panesar house and told The Six to go into the tavern. He discussed what happened on Christmas Day there and inquired as to the precise manner in which Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) murdered Keanu.
