Does Barney have a secret?
It is claimed that Barney Mitchell “killed” his brother’s girlfriend in EastEnders when Penny began questioning Harry last night (Wednesday, October 23).
Only a passing reference to Harry’s “dark” past has made reference to the enigmatic Shireen. Where is she now that she’s gone?
Will the answers come from Barney and Harry’s mother, who is in route to the Square?
EastEnders: Barney and the Mitchells
For months, the recent Mitchell recruits have been implying that they had a sinister background. That would account for the relocation to Walford in search of a “new beginning.”
Teddy had previously implied that Harry was the reason they had to relocate. Now that he was detected blackmailing Jack, the policeman conducted his own investigation.
Jack learned that Harry formerly dated a lady named Shireen, who coincidentally vanished, after meeting with a coworker. She could be dead, but no one knows where she is.
As usual, Jack made snap judgments and implied that Harry killed her. Fans, however, are considering an other theory.
Held back After Ravi dangled Teddy from the railroad bridge, Barney and Teddy had a lengthy talk. Teddy offered self-defense training and wants him to get tougher.
But the tone of that did not sit well with Barney. He was determined to phone his mother instead.
EastEnders: Barney killed Harry’s girlfriend?
Supporters interpret this as evidence that he has a history of negative combat experiences.
“Teddy did well there with Barney – until he mentioned ‘boxing,'” one X user remarked. His strategy with Barney is essentially a “copy and paste” of Phil’s strategy with Ben.
“You think Barney punched Shireen (Harry’s ex) and he ended up accidentally killing her?” was the response to the initial statement.
“Very wild theory, but what if Teddy actually has something to do with Harry’s girlfriend’s disappearance?” a third person proposed. “What if it was Barney?” a fourth person said.
Teddy will now be very shocked when Nicola shows up on the Square without warning. In an attempt to mend their friendship, Barney gave her a call.
Could she, however, disclose a painful reality? Perhaps Barney had a greater role in Shireen’s disappearance.
