Fans of EastEnders believe they have figured out who tampers with Anna Knight’s drink in a horrifying twist.
The BBC One soap opera EastEnders’ Anna Knight is scheduled to have a terrible ordeal when her drink is drugged next week, but astute viewers have already ‘rumbled’ the person responsible.

In a startling turn of events, fans of EastEnders think they know who is responsible for drugging Anna Knight.
In an episode that airs on Tuesday, July 16, Molly Rainford’s character Anna will go through a terrifying ordeal later this month when her drink is tampered with. Anna goes out for a night at Peggy’s with her sister Gina and friends Felix and Freddie.

But when someone tampers with her drink, danger is around. At first, her friends’ alcohol intake is blamed for Anna’s strange behavior, and the incident is ignored.

However, her loved ones soon realize that her actions are out of proportion to the little amount of alcohol she has actually consumed, which causes them to become concerned.

Through the use of a QR code, viewers of EastEnders will be able to access an exclusive five-part mini-series, marking a revolutionary move and a digital first for the show. This code will show up in the main episode and direct viewers to a website where they can choose the platform of their choice.

According to the BBC soap opera, the digital series provides an exclusive viewpoint that allows viewers to see the incident from both Anna’s and her friends’ points of view.

But even before the episode airs, viewers have already guessed as to who could have spiked Anna’s drink. Fans discussed their thoughts on the future plot in a Reddit thread.

In the comment section of a post, an individual expressed: “I’m glad she’s getting something good to work with, i hope she does it well! ! But I wonder who spikes her.”

Quick to speculate, fans suggested that her boyfriend Bobby Beale (played by Clay Milner Russell) could be the culprit, especially given the actor’s imminent departure from the soap.

Earlier this year, in April, it was revealed that Clay was turning his back on EastEnders. After five remarkable years on Albert Square, he took the “difficult decision” to bid adieu to the show.

A fan conjectured that Bobby may use jealousy to spike Anna’s drink if he thought she and Freddie were becoming too close. “Perhaps Bobby, since he’s heading out,” they surmised. Perhaps it’s because he thinks she and Freddie are becoming too close that he becomes envious, spikes her, and everything goes wrong.”

Another person said: “There’s a little psycho deep within him, I’d like to see him snap and release the beast.”

Another reader, however, expressed their hopes for an intriguing plot development, writing: “This #EastEnders storyline should be interesting. I hope it’s not part of Bobby’s exit storyline where he spikes Anna and has to go.”
