The police are going to question Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) in relation to the horrifying mass-crushing tragedy that occurred in EastEnders.

After being rendered homeless by serial murderer spouse Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith), who chose to sell No. 1 Albert Square from his prison cell, things are truly getting worse.

She also lost her job when her ‘mate’ Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) used underhand tactics to steal Chelsea managerial position from under her feet, when she was caught drinking on the job.

Swooping into owner Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) office, Penny turned her back on her and said she’d be the perfect replacement.

In upcoming scenes, the atmosphere in Walford is electric after a weekend of carnival celebrations, and Phil proposes an extravagant party is held at Peggy’s to cap off the events.

Penny feels the need to prove herself, and quickly tries to flog some last minute tickets by doorstepping The Queen Vic.

Back at the bar, Chelsea is given a frosty reception from her new boss and decides to sabotage the night by making more tickets available through the online booking system.

Elsewhere, Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) convinces Amy Mitchell (Elle Dadd) to gatecrash…

Little does Chelsea know, this soon causes more and more punters to flood in, and the place quickly becomes too busy.

Chaos soon ensues and the situation turns overcrowded, with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) and Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) escaping into the office to continue their affair, blissfully unaware of the drama outside.

After the awful circumstances, and with Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) distraught by what he’s seen, Chelsea panics as the police want to question her over her role.

‘She feels absolutely awful. It was never her intention for anything to go so badly wrong, and instantly she is filled with guilt that she has had a part to play in what is a catastrophic, and potentially fatal, accident’ Zaraah told us.

‘I think she is going to take it quite hard, especially because she is a mum now so has another perspective on what life means.’

Will Chelsea be caught out?
