Emmerdale It is scheduled for Angelica King to return to the village after Heath Hope was killed in a car accident.
Fans of Emmerdale believe that a big surprise is in store for a villager who is returning.
In 2009, Rebecca Bakes’ character Angelica King debuted on the ITV soap opera. Angelica, the daughter of Nicola (Nicola Wheeler), the soap opera legend, rose to prominence in the Dales very fast.
She was also a part of the heartbreaking Heath Hope (Sebastian Dowling) death storyline at the start of the New Year. Fans will remember that he perished in a tragic vehicle accident.
And earlier in March, in an unexpected turn of events, Angelica was sentenced to a Secure Children’s Home after acknowledging her role in Heath’s untimely death.
The judge at the hearing confirmed that because of the nature of the offense, there was “no alternative” and Angelica would be receiving a custodial sentence. However, he disclosed that it would be significantly shorter because of her guilty plea and earlier remarks.
Eight months of confinement in a secure children’s home was imposed upon Angelica. Subsequently, it came to light that the teenager was being sent to a house in Bristol, which was four hours’ drive from the village.
Angelica’s difficult stay in the Secure Children’s Home, where she was initially bullied but now appears to be stirring things up on her own, has been alluded to in recent episodes.
Angelica’s father, Jimmy (Nick Miles), expressed his anguish in a tearful moment by acknowledging that his daughter is “not my little Angel anymore”.
However, it has now been verified that Angela will be returning to the Dales. During the Radio Times Soap Awards last weekend, actor Rebecca talked to Digital Spy about when fans might see Angelica again.
“It should be at the end of September, so in a few months maybe,” she disclosed. Since we haven’t started filming anything yet, I really don’t know.”
Rebecca continued, “They kept us informed and before we even started filming it, we were told that the driver would be me. It was an explosive New Year’s storyline.” I had never done anything as big before, so it was really exciting.”
In response to a question about potential changes we might witness in Angelica this fall, Rebecca mused, “I don’t really know yet, but it could go in the direction of her being a rebel or going a bit downhill.”
Fans now believe that Angelica will surprise her family with a significant revelation. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, someone responded to her return by saying, “She’ll be back pregnant with Heath’s child most likely.”
“I have a feeling that’s exactly what’s going to happen,” another person said. “Probably pregnant or ends up with Samson’s awful mate,” a third person commented.
