EXCLUSIVE: ITV’s Aaron Dingle star, Danny Miller, opened up on what he thought of his former on-screen husband, Ryan Fawley, moving to the BBC.
Danny Miller, a member of Emmerdale, opened out about how he felt about an ITV soap opera star he worked with joining a rival show. Five years ago, Ryan Hawley, who played Robert Sugden in the soap opera from 2014 to 2019, moved away from the Dales to take a position on the BBC’s Casualty earlier this year.
The Sugdens and Danny’s character, Aaron Dingle, were well-known for their romantic relationship, and viewers came to know them as “Robron.” However, when Ryan decided to quit the program back in 2019, their love tale was shattered.
In his last moments, Robert was imprisoned after being taken into custody by the police and confessing to attacking Lee Posner, who had sexually assaulted his sister Victoria.
When questioned about his thoughts on Ryan joining Casualty during his speech at the Radio Times Soap Awards, Danny jokingly responded, “Traitor!” He stated, “No, he’s a great actor and I speak to him all the time so hopefully he does a good job,” to Express.co.uk and other press, adding that he will still be in regular communication with his former co-star.
But like with everything else he’s done, I have no doubt that he will. I’m happy for him.
In June, Ryan made a comeback to television as Jamie Cleveland, a board member at Holby City Hospital on Casualty. The guy is a mystery because not much information about his past has been provided.
Even though he hadn’t seen Cam Micklethwaite (Barney Walsh) in ten years prior to his job, viewers are aware that he has known him for a long time.
The long-running BBC medical drama took a turn this past weekend when some extremely sinister aspects of his background appeared to resurface, leading viewers to believe they had forgotten his sinister secret.
Jamie was terrified when a mystery guy named Bobby showed up at the hospital.
When Siobhan McKenzie approached him in the Holby hallways, he asked if the patient was challenging. Jamie said, “He’s the one I have the restraining order against,” and he quickly left.
Upon arriving in Siobhan’s office, he provided additional clarification. “It happened while I helped out in the youth group. He developed an obsession with me. He lost control and set fire to the center when I attempted to pull away. At that point, he stated his charge,” he remarked in a menacing tone.
