Emmerdale fans 'figure out' Ruby and Caleb's secret child after Nicky exit

In last week’s episode of Emmerdale, Ruby and Caleb were distraught to learn that their son had left the village. Do they have any other children?

Fans of Emmerdale are certain that Beth Cordingly’s character Ruby Fox Milligan and William Ash’s character Caleb have a daughter they hide. Last week, after Nicky (Lewis Cope) bowed out of the community after learning his parents were lying again to hide their recent crime, the couple waved farewell to their son.

Rather than allow Ruby to get into trouble, Caleb chose to accept responsibility for the incident when Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) started to suspect that the Milligan family may have been involved in Ethan’s hit-and-run.

Nicky eventually lost patience and realized it was time to leave the community with Suni Sharma (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana), despite Caleb and Ruby’s best efforts to trick him.

Nicky had the opportunity to make it clear that Ruby, not Caleb, was the hit-and-run driver, but he decided to withhold the information.

Ruby attempted to talk Nicky out of saying farewell, but he would not speak. On the other hand, some ITV soap opera watchers are positive Nicky has a sister.

Taking to a Reddit thread dedicated to Emmerdale, one fan asked if Caleb and Ruby are parents to another child.

They wrote: “Do Ruby and Caleb have a daughter? I’ve heard a good few people talking about Nicky’s sister. When Nicky got into the car crash, some people were wondering if Nick’s sister would come to the village.”

Before adding: “I was wondering where people got the idea that Nicky had a sister. I don’t remember any mentions of her and if he does have one, Ruby and Caleb clearly don’t care about her.”

The statement sparked flurries of comments from viewers who agreed, with one person replying: “Nicky completed mismatched with Caleb and Ruby. Yes – maybe a daughter who has previously “divorced” herself from the dysfunctional duo could make an appearance??”

A second asked: “Was there not a scene in Caleb’s kitchen between Ruby and Nicky right after Ruby arrived where she said ‘you and your sister’ to Nicky?.”

A third chimed in: “With Caleb’s past the guy must have a secret kid out there somewhere right?.”

While another added: “Nicky completely mismatched with Caleb and Ruby. Yes – maybe a daughter who has previously “divorced” herself from the dysfunctional duo could make an appearance??”

“I’ve read comments about a daughter/ sister too, but I’ve rewatched Caleb & Nicky’s scenes countless times and not heard any mention. Caleb told Leyla he had ‘kids’ but that could’ve been a lie”, exclaimed one fan.

“Have they both cheated on each other?” another person said. I believe Ruby stated that having flings when Caleb and her weren’t together or apart at the time wasn’t appropriate cheating. Additionally, it doesn’t really seem like Caleb’s character to forgive an unfaithful wife; he is a highly conceited individual who enjoys believing he is the best of the best.” (sic)
