On Tuesday, viewers were shocked by the news that Emmerdale’s Caleb and Ruby Milligan received, but it was his choice of lunch at The Woolpack that caused a stir.
Caleb Milligan’s dinner at The Woolpack on Tuesday, July 30, diverted the attention of Emmerdale viewers.

When Caleb (William Ash) and his wife Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly) returned from their Bali vacation, they received unfavorable news during their most recent visit to the village.

Caleb received a call from the police alerting him to the fire at his car dealership. Officers contacted Caleb to question him and promptly began investigating the fire because they felt it was the result of an arson attack.

However, he told Ruby as he entered the main door that it was “lucky” he had raised the business premiums prior to their trip, leaving his wife in disbelief.

When a copper questioned Caleb about his whereabouts during the fire, he replied that he was at home with his wife, but it was obvious the officer had doubts. Later, Caleb and Ruby went to The Woolpack for a peaceful dinner.

The character told Ruby that he did not believe his former adversary Kim Tate (Claire King) would be the one responsible for the fire at his car business.

Right now, Caleb is ignorant of Ruby’s scheme to destroy Kim’s life with Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco). Ruby accused Kim of being guilty in The Woolpack, but Caleb brushed her accusation aside.

Well, she may be a witch bent on retaliation, but our fight has a tense past. He informed his wife that it would be illogical. However, Kim walked over to Caleb and made jokes about the fire a few moments later.

She asked cynically, “Is that smoke I can smell on you?” Caleb shot back, saying he was waiting on a hefty insurance claim.

However, other Emmerdale viewers were preoccupied with Caleb’s dinner at the bar, where he seemed to be “eating a whole chicken” to himself off a chopping board, despite the mystery surrounding the fire.

One commenter questioned on X, saying, “Was Caleb eating a chicken, a full chicken #Emmerdale @emmerdale.”

“Why is Caleb eating an entire chicken?” yelled the second. “Is Caleb eating a whole chicken #Emmerdale?” echoed a third person.

Another person said, “Caleb ordering a full chicken to himself,” and an emoji of a laughing face was added.

Another joker added, “That wasn’t a good episode except for Caleb’s chicken,” while a caustic viewer exclaimed, “I think one of Sam’s chicken is on Caleb’s plate!!” “#Emmerdale @emmerdale,” with faces full of laughter behind it.
