Emmerdale fans reckon a killer twist is in store for Tom King – with viewers warning they’ll ‘turn off’ if he murders a beloved village resident.

Emmerdale Tom King’s victim has been ‘revealed’ in a killer twist – but it’s not Belle.

This year, soap favourite Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Droper) has been at the centre of a gripping domestic abuse storyline with her new husband Tom (James Chase).

His reign of terror escalated when he discovered she had terminated their unborn child. Belle initially deceived Tom by claiming she had suffered a miscarriage, but eventually found out leaving him enraged.

Recently, the pair, and Belle’s dog, Piper, left the village for Wales – where Tom is secretly planning to move permanently. And this week, the news gets out about their sudden departure – leaving Belle’s relative, Charity (Emma Atkins) concerned.

Determined to get answers, Charity recruits Cain (Jeff Hordley) and the pair break into Tom and Belle’s home. The pair are alarmed though, when they uncover Tom’s surveillance equipment.

Charity then finds Belle’s phone and an address for a Welsh cabin. Thinking the worst, Charity and Cain decide to track down Belle and head to the mystery cottage. However, while there, they make a startling discovery.

Arriving at the Welsh holiday property they find blood streaked across a door. Spoilers have revealed that the soap will then shift into flashback scenes from Tom and Belle’s arrival at the cottage.

And with blood on the door, fans reckon a murder twist is in store. However, while many may think Tom could end up murdering Belle, other viewers reckon he will kill the dog, Piper.

Reacting to a post about Cain and Charity’s ‘bloody’ discovery at the cottage, one fan said: “If Piper dies, then the announcer should say so before the program starts so people can switch off in disgust.”

Someone else added: “I think he’s killed the dog and is blaming her.” A third wrote: “yes the same here….. if so…. I wont be watching.”

Another chimed in and proclaimed: “Since hearing that something is going to happen to Piper I have not watched any episodes. I know it may sound strange as I watch programs all the time where people are killed . But the thought of hurting an animal, I just cannot watch.”

Tom previously poisoned Belle’s dog Piper as a means of getting her back under his thumb. In distressing scenes aired in May, Tom got out an injection from his veterinary bag.

Walking towards the pub, he said; “Right, this is gonna hurt me more than it hurts you. Actually, maybe not.”
