Enthusiasts of Emmerdale think they have finally pieced together how the program would reveal Zak Dingle’s passing. The cherished figure, portrayed by the late Steve Halliwell, initially appeared on screen in 1994 and immediately won over fans as the head of the Dingle family.
Steve Halliwell sadly passed away at the age of 77 last year following a string of health issues. At the time, his family made the following announcement: “He went to sleep, peacefully with his loved ones around him.”

However, viewers generally agree that Zak’s passing could deal Belle Dingle—played by Eden Taylor-Droper, who is now involved in a horrific domestic violence story with her new husband Tom (James Chase)—another devastating blow.
