Emmerdale’s Rose has caused plenty of drama – but viewers are convinced she is related to a shock village resident

Emmerdale‘s Rose Jackson’s sibling has been ‘revealed’ – and it’s a fellow villager.

Rose (Christine Tremarco) made her debut on the soap earlier this year, as the estranged ex-wife of Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) and mother of Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley).

It was then revealed that Rose had walked out on them both when Dawn was a baby. And in a shock twist, it was confirmed that Rose had a connection with fellow villager Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly).

As fans will recall, Ruby is set on destroying Kim Tate (Claire King) – and with Rose living at Kim’s house, Ruby blackmailed Rose to take down soap legend Kim.

Rose owes Ruby a lot of cash after the latter bailed her out of significant debts – something Ruby keeps reminding her of.

In a shock twist, Ruby arranged for a dealer to drop off some drugs to Rose – which she was then tasked to use to spike Will’s drink, to sleep with him. The plan went wrong though, when the drinks got mixed up – causing Dawn to get in a car crash.

After spinning a web of lies, Rose managed to shift the blame onto Kim, leaving her alienated from her family and forced to move out of her home and into a B&B.

However, fans are now convinced that there is more than just a friendly connection between Rose and Ruby.

Rushing to social media, fans have shared their theories that the pair could be sisters in a shock DNA twist. On X, one person said: “I’m 110% convinced that Ruby and Rose are sisters and it will be the beginning of Ruby’s past unraveling.”

A second fan replied: “Half siblings maybe?” While On X, someone else wrote: “Rose and Ruby. Are they sisters ?”

And over on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, another viewer mused: “Does anyone else think Ruby & Rose could be sisters..?” A fifth wrote: “I’ve said this too’.”
