Next week, EMMERDALE will include devastating scenes as locals Nate Robinson and Tracy Metcalfe prepare for the worst after their daughter Frankie disappears.

When Tracy (Amy Walsh) and Nate (Jurell Carter) realize they have no idea where their three-year-old daughter is, there’s a panic throughout the community.

Estranged couple Tracy and Nate will be at the centre of drama in ITV soap Emmerdale next week.

The pair have both been fighting their resurfaced feelings for one another in recent weeks, but things begin to reach a head in upcoming scenes as after Nate receives a job offer in Scotland.

Revealing the news to Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), Nate confesses he is torn over the decision, but only has 24 hours to confirm.

When he finally tells Tracy about the offer, neither of them confess their feelings, leaving Nate feeling even more upset and confused about his decision, though he hides this from Tracy.

However, the pair soon have bigger things to worry about when they realise they don’t know where Frankie had gone.

Worried and fearing the worst, Tracy releases its time to call the police.

This heart-wrenching storyline builds up to the dramatic upcoming fire that will tear through Moria Dingle’s (Natalie J. Robb) farm.

It seems that Frankie’s disappearance may bring the pair closer together and they even share a kiss in the trailer for the explosive fire in the barn.

Unfortunately, another tragedy may befall the estranged couple as fans are convinced Nate will die in the fire as Jurell has confirmed his exit from the soap.

Speaking of the fire on X, formerly Twitter, one Emmerdale fan theorised: “This is probably how Nate will die.”

“Nate, unfortunately, is going to die,” agreed another.

“The actor that plays Nate has quit Emmerdale. My guess, this is Nate’s explosive exit. So this means a third young male character killed off this year,” they added.

While it’s not yet clear how he’ll depart, Emmerdale bosses have promised an “intense week of drama” as the stunt plays out and leaves a number of villagers’ lives hanging in the balance.
