The village is set to be ravaged with lies and deceit in next week’s Emmerdale episodes as Kim Tate and Liam Cavanagh both make huge discoveries.

Emmerdale will air a big twist next week – as Ella Forster (played by Paula Lane) will discover she isn’t pregnant. Ella recently arrived back in the village with a life-changing surprise for Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) – that she’s having his baby.

The ex-couple hit the rocks when Liam learned of Ella’s secret, that she had killed another child when she was 11 years old, and he ended their relationship.

She fled the village but soon returned with the news she is pregnant. Unimpressed by the Ella’s announcement, Liam’s immediate reaction was to brand her a liar.

Ella has since leaned on Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) for moral support while a furious Liam refused to believe her baby is his. But next week, the time arrives for Ella’s first scan and she invites Mandy along.

She also gears up to comply with Liam’s request to have a paternity test. But while she’s at work, Ella suddenly starts experiencing nasty cramps.

Liam checks her over. He is keen to join Ella for the scan but she is not so happy about it, until transport issues mean she needs him to take her and they go along together.

At the scan, the sonographer starts the proceedings, but they are immediately hit a problem that will leave them both in shock, the sonographer can’t find a baby.

Liam is apoplectic at being proven right, he knew something was off. He shouts Ella down by accusing her of faking her pregnancy to get close to him again.

Back in the village, a distraught Liam is consoled by Paddy (Dominic Brunt) as he tries to understand why Ella lied about the baby, but is it all as it seems – or is there an explanation?

Meanwhile, across the village, Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco) goes in for the kill and tries to sleep with her ex-husband Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), behind Kim Tate‘s back.

Her plan to break up Will and Kim (Claire King) appears to be going in the right direction but Rose wants her mission complete. When he feels put out by Kim’s obsession with speaking to Caleb Milligan (William Ash), Rose uses it to her advantage and she makes a move on him.

Will goes through with it but wakes up the next day, full of regret for what he’s done. Rose feels she’s finally got the upper hand until she gets a call from Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly) – and her face falls.

Kim finds out the truth about what’s going on, and whilst she knows Rose is up to something, she knows someone else is the mastermind behind it all. But before long the penny drops when she heads to Ruby’s.

Ruby tells her she’s just waiting for her marriage and life to implode, but how will Kim react to the betrayal?

Kim then makes a triumphant return to Home Farm and makes it clear that she now knows everything.

The next day, PC Swirling turns up at Home Farm to carry out a welfare check on Rose after finding her handbag abandoned.

Kim and Will try their best not to look guilty – how much do they know about Rose’s whereabouts?
