On the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, there will be a lot of twists and turns next week.

Many characters find themselves in danger in various ways as a result of revelations that spark conflict among the villagers and the revealing of secrets. A character is taken to the hospital after a shocking collapse, but will they survive?

It is the result of a terrible discovery, but there are also two more twists that might be revealed and could have dire repercussions for certain people. At last, Tom King is raising enough red flags for someone to realize that something is wrong between him and Belle Dingle.

And then there’s Charles Anderson, who wants to know everything about his son Ethan’s hit-and-run, which could lead to Caleb Miligan being exposed. These are the most important events for the upcoming week…

Caleb exit sealed?

An enraged and bereaved Charles Anderson catches Caleb Miligan off guard, which could spell disaster. The audience is aware that in a recent episode, days after a hit-and-run, Charles’ son Ethan Anderson passed away.

The driver was Ruby Miligan, Caleb’s wife, seeking revenge for her son Nicky, who had been hurt and thought to be dead in an accident that Ethan had caused the month before. Ruby and Caleb, however, feel they are safe because Ethan’s cause of death indicates the hit-and-run was not the cause of his death.

However, next week’s spoilers show how the evidence starts to mount against Caleb and suggest that a departure may be imminent. When Caleb learns that Ethan’s hit-and-run case is going to be dropped, he gets excited in a quiet way.

Despite his connection to the events, Caleb feels compelled to offer support to Charles as he continues to struggle following Ethan’s loss. Ruby is concerned that Charles is going home with Caleb even though she has been a support system for him lately and feels that they are becoming too close.

After spending the night with Caleb while keeping what he knows hidden, Charles expresses gratitude to him for his hospitality in the morning. However, Charles discovers and takes an interesting invoice when he spills coffee on a rug and goes to clean it.

It appears that he makes a concerning discovery because Charles insists on driving Caleb into Hotten later that day. Charles gets upset and pulls over, much to Caleb’s dismay, but the lift is accepted.

Soon, he heads into the woods, and, worried, Caleb follows. When Caleb tries his best to console Charles after he questions the hit-and-run case being dropped, he is left perplexed when Charles’ behavior shifts.

Charles starts questioning him about Ethan’s death shortly after, and when Caleb goes to get back in the car, an enraged Charles stops him and pulls out the invoice he had earlier discovered. He says it seems to point to Caleb’s involvement in the hit-and-run, but will he be compelled to leave and what will he say?

Tom King ‘rumbled’

Next week, Emmerdale will feature dramatic scenes as Tom King hatches yet another evil scheme. With Tom and Belle Dingle, the ITV soap opera is tackling a coercive control storyline. Recently, viewers have witnessed Tom manipulating and isolating his partner Belle. Recent episodes took an even more tragic turn when Tom became violent, his depraved behavior getting worse, and he was watching her.

Next week’s spoilers hint at the unsettling fallout, leaving Belle’s family worried for her. In later scenes, Charity, Chas, Mandy, and Lydia start questioning Belle about her relationship with Tom, which makes her anxious. When Charity notices something is off, she presses Belle to explain the true situation to her. But Belle becomes enraged by their constant interrogation and leaves abruptly. Later, Charity discovers Belle inconsolable outside The Woolpack and politely requests that she open up again.

Belle starts crying because it seems like she might start talking, but then she sees Tom and pushes Charity away before frantically running home. Soon after, Tom stops Charity from pursuing Belle and says his wife is having mental health issues. This leaves Charity completely perplexed. In a tragic turn of events, Charity feels as though she has overreacted, and she furiously exits the room, fearing that she has lost the opportunity to persuade the other women that something is amiss.

Tom’s expression darkens at home as he makes more menacing plans and answers a call, indicating that he wants to go to an interview for a job in Wales. The following day, Charity makes an effort to console Belle and make amends, but she rejects her and moves away from her family. Tom is reminded during an online interview that the position he is applying for is located in a very remote area of Wales.

In a concerning development, Tom deceives the interviewer by saying Belle would be thrilled to relocate there. Later, Tom carries out his evil scheme by offering to take Belle on a vacation. He suggests a secluded cottage, and Belle accepts the idea. Will Charity stop Tom before it’s too late, or will he carry out his plan?

Hospital dash

Laurel Thomas will confront husband Jai Sharma regarding his and Eric Pollard’s questionable actions in later scenes. As soap opera fans will remember, Eric is using Jai as a pawn in exchange for something that happened earlier in the year with his biological father, Amit. In addition to forcing Amit to leave the village, Jai also forced him to sign over all of the company’s shares to himself, excluding his other son Suni from any ownership in the HOP.

Next week’s spoilers state that Jai tells Laurel he can’t bear to tell his brother Suni the truth, which infuriates Laurel. Shortly afterward, their disagreement turns tense, and Jai makes fun of Laurel’s late husband, Ashley Thomas, who passed away in 2017, while she is sending him off.

When left alone, Laurel passes out on the ground from dizziness brought on by Jai’s harsh words and betrayal. With her phone ringing and her being unable to answer it, Laurel is left terrified and hardly able to move. Thankfully, Gabby Thomas, Laurel’s stepdaughter, finds her. She was alarmed to see her stepmother having trouble breathing.
