The village is overflowing with drama in next week’s Emmerdale as Rose takes drastic action while a familiar face returns and Samson makes a big decision.

Another exciting week is in store for Emmerdale in the village. Rose Jackson, played by Christine Tremarco, sets the groundwork for her revenge scheme against Kim Tate, played by Claire King, in upcoming episodes of the ITV serial opera.

It was soon revealed that Rose had been married to Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) and had abandoned him as well as their little daughter Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) when she first arrived in the area earlier this year.

However, Rose also has a relationship with Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly), and the two of them are planning to eliminate Kim.

In later sequences, Rose finds herself in a panic as Ruby pushes her to follow their plan. Will is bewildered, though, and Rose tries to hide it by pushing in for a kiss, leaving Will astonished. The two are nearly caught out.

Rose is uncertain if would would inform Kim when he swiftly pulls away. When Will tells Kim that it’s time for her to leave their house later on, Rose is angry.

Rose purposefully creates chaos by letting a horse run amok as payback. More mystery is revealed, though, when she gets a mysterious message and goes to the village’s edge. There, she meets a dealer who gives her a vial of tranquilizer and instructs her to wait for more instructions.

Rose is ecstatic to hear that her grandson Evan has been released from the hospital, but she is torn between carrying out her horrible plan and being called “mum” by her estranged daughter Dawn, even though she is secretly hatching a sinister scheme to spike Will’s drink in order to trap him.

Later, it seems Rose follows through on the plan, and Dawn and Kim arrive home with two additional cocktails poured, right as Will is ready to take a sip of the tainted beverage.

Rose’s sinister scheme goes horribly awry, leaving her terrified as she can’t remember which drink has been laced.

In another scene, a well-known figure reappears in the village, and things don’t look well for Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson).

When Liam resigns to stay single, Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) pushes him to start over with Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).

However, the following day, he is being watched by an enigmatic figure. When Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) discovers an intruder in the house, it is revealed to be Ella (Paula Lane), who was exiled from the town after it was discovered that she had killed a child.

Ella acknowledges that she returned to get the remaining items, but as Ella walks away, Mandy is conflicted. Later, Ella’s automobile is involved in an accident on a country road, and Sam Dingle (James Hooton) phones an ambulance to report the incident. Will Ella make it through?

In upcoming Emmerdale scenes, Samson Dingle (played by Sam Hall) will clear Matty Barton’s (Ash Palmisciano) name after weeks of lying.

Samson gets mixed counsel after telling the authorities that Matty intentionally stabbed him. His father, Sam, advises him to run because he fears serious consequences if his lies are discovered.

However, this bold offer disgusts his stepmother Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick), who begs Samson to face the music with the police.

Samson decides to take Lydia’s advice and goes to the police station to tell the truth about how he was actually stabbed. At last, he acknowledges that it was an accident and that Matty was not at fault. Will lying get Samson sent down?
