Emmerdale spoilers: Laurel’s suspicions grow
Laurel watches as Pollard and Jai share a tense exchange. However, Jai keeps a lid on his anger at Pollard.
Later, Suni, goes to Laurel and asks her for advice about what he should do about Nicky, who’s still eager to leave. Laurel tells him that Jai would be devastated if he left now.
She emphasizes to him the value of making concessions. Thoughtful, Suni is left wondering if Nicky can persuade him to go.
Later, when Pollard declines to pay for his drinks and advises Laurel to talk to Jai about the matter instead, Laurel’s misgivings intensify. When she gets home, she questions Jai about Pollard’s antagonistic demeanor. What will Laurel hear from Jai?
Dawn’s struggle
Evan and Dawn head back to Home Farm. But the idea of the kids seeing their baby brother makes her extremely paranoid.
Billy is concerned about Dawn’s excessive shielding. Is Billy able to reach Dawn?
Matty’s in danger?
Amy is worried because Matty told her not to come. Over the phone from prison, the two have a difficult but necessary talk.
With a brave smile, he hangs up and heads back to his cell. Les, a prison hardman, is his new cellmate, which horrifies him.
Les threatens Matty with a barrage of sharp jabs.
