Actress Amelia Flanagan, who portrays April Windsor in Emmerdale, has finished her GCSE coursework. Her mother wrote “over and out” alongside a photo of the celebrity on the family’s social media page.
Love poured over Amelia in the comments section from people who told her to “enjoy her summer.” And maybe now that the sun is shining, she can accomplish that!

Sharing the image with their 32K followers, Amelia’s mum, Rachel wrote: “GCSEs over and out…” followed by a sunshine emoji and sunglasses and a palm tree.
Fans quickly commented: “Bet you smashed it you’re a very intelligent girl.”
“Yay, enjoy your summer,” said another.
Someone else said: “Congratulations Amelia, now it’s time for you to enjoy your summer. I bet you did brilliant in your GCSEs as you’re a bright young lady. All the best for your future career.”
Amelia’s 16th celebrations
The April actress recently turned 16 and celebrated in style with a party.
Amelia posted images of herself posing in front of a massive light-up 16 while sporting a gorgeous floor-length blue gown.
Her former on-screen stepmother Gemma Atkinson expressed her affection for her Emmerdale co-star, saying, “Ahh you look beautiful!” Cheers to your birthday.
Lisa Riley, the actress who played Mandy Dingle, then said, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVELY.” I hope you have the most amazing celebration.

Amelia Flanagan stuns fans with age
Amelia shocked her fans back in February when she said “yes” to the dress! Fans went into a confused frenzy after seeing the social media post, and many began to wonder how old Amelia is in real life.
On social media, the Flanagan family shared a photo of Amelia outside of what appeared to be a bridal shop. She was carrying a sign that read, “I said yes!” Following the success of the eponymous television series, this is a common way for brides to announce their choice of wedding gown.
Naturally, Amelia is not getting married! Thankfully, the caption provided some additional clarification!
We went to House of Rose today to select Amelia’s gorgeous prom gown. Helen, thank you so much,” it said. Helen is actually the owner of the shop; he is an actor from Emmerdale named Dean Andrews.
Some fans were definitely caught off guard by the post! “I really thought OMG she’s getting married,” one person commented.
“OMG, I can’t believe she’s that age already!” exclaimed another.
Another person commented, “Beautiful, can’t believe how grown up she is getting.” The same was said by another commenter: “Well, I feel old, she’s only seven, no?!”

April was born on August 13, 2009, as shown on screen. April was only four years old in March 2014 when she debuted on the show. The character will turn 15 later this year, making her current age of 14.
Amelia is a year older than her alter ego in real life, meanwhile. Her birthday is June 6, 2008.
When she started on Emmerdale, that made her five. She recently turned sixteen, too.
