Emmerdale Kim Tate has been left isolated from her family recently – but the soap legend could be set to start an affair with a married man
Emmerdale‘s Kim Tate could be set to start an affair with an unlikely villager.
The soap legend, played by Claire King, has been involved in several big stories over the years. Especially at the moment, as in recent episodes, she has found herself alienated from her family, including partner Will Taylor (Dean Andrews).
As fans will recall, Will’s ex Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco) rocked up to the village this year – and has caused plenty of drama. Although reconciling with daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley), Rose has been blackmailed by Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly) to take down Kim.
And in an attempt to drug Will, recently, Rose slipped a drug she got from a dealer into his Prosecco. However, Kim and Dawn joined them for a drink – leaving Rose confused as she muddled up the drinks, unsure which one was spiked.
Things then took a dramatic turn, when Dawn ended up in hospital after getting involved in a car crash. Back at Home Farm, Dawn confronted her family, revealing she knew she had been spiked, and then accused Kim.
Taking advantage, Rose then spun a web of lies to make it out like it was Kim who spiked Dawn. Meanwhile, Dawn’s husband Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle), rallied around Kim, insisting he didn’t think it was her.
And last week, Rose made Kim feel more isolated than ever, as she got her dealer to arrive at the farm, and confronted Kim, making it look like she was guilty.
As a result, Dawn was adamant she wanted to move out. However, Kim later agreed that she would leave instead, to protect Dawn’s ill child Evan.
Now, amid Rose bringing Kim down, fans are convinced the latter will end up having an affair with Billy. On X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “They should all f*** off and Billy to shack up with Kim, the Toy Boy and the Cougar!”
Someone else added: “Given Kim and Billy’s interactions over the past few episodes, are we about to see a repeat of Kim’s affair in 1995?” A third mused: “If I was Kim I’d chuck that useless pathetic husband of hers. Billy is the only loyal one there. Bets on them having an affair.”
Another agreed and penned: “Kim and Billy affair looms.” A fifth wrote: “Hands up who wants a Billy and Queen Kim affair.” Someone else proclaimed: “I reckon Kim should get it on with Billy and the 2 of them can tell Dawn, Will and Rose to go f*** themselves!”
