Fans expressed concern about Natalie J. Robb’s character Moira Dingle from Emmerdale when she was spotted having a seizure during Tuesday’s episode.
Following a startling seizure, Emmerdale appears to have disclosed Moira Dingle’s health problem.
In recent episodes, viewers and her on-screen family have been expressing concern over the iconic character, played by Natalie J. Robb. After the horrific event involving her son Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano), she started acting erratically.
Fans will remember that Matty was imprisoned after an incident with Samson Dingle (Sam Hall), but was later released when Samson confessed the truth. However, it’s Moira’s unusual antics and sudden outbursts that have been drawing attention.
Alongside clashing with her husband Cain (Jeff Hordley) and acting out of character, Moira has resumed drinking after overcoming substance abuse three years prior. In Tuesday’s episode (August 27), the plot took a dramatic twist.
At the beginning of the episode, Cain was displeased to find Moira praising Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), which stirred up painful memories of their past affair.
Later, while tending to a new animal at her barn, Moira suddenly had a seizure and collapsed in a distressing scene, suggesting she may be struggling with epilepsy.
Fans quickly voiced their concerns for the beloved character.
Emmerdale viewers have taken to a Facebook fan page to express their concerns for Moira Dingle’s health, with one fan commenting: “Poor Moira looks like she’s got something serious going off health-wise.”
Another added their thoughts, saying: “It could be a brain tumour. Hope it’s nothing serious.” Speculation continued as a third person posted: “Brain tumour or clot?”
The theories didn’t stop there, as another chimed in: “Moira could have a possible tumour. It would explain her changed personality.”
And a fifth fan speculated: “That was hard to watch, almost had tears. Please be ok Moira!”
