Fans of Emmerdale can anticipate a great deal of drama this week as Matty Barton finds himself in serious danger and Samson Dingle prepares to leave the community.
Emmerdale fans should expect another exciting week of turmoil.
After learning that his cellmate Les (Stacey J. Gough) has accepted him as a trans guy and is delighted to tell Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) of this when she visits, Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) is a little more upbeat.
He is relieved to learn that they have a new attorney and is optimistic that he may soon be released from prison. As their vacation comes to a conclusion, Amy is relieved that Matty is feeling better. Robbo, whom she misidentifies as Les, approaches her as she watches him go.
Unfortunately, Amy—who is unaware of the danger she has now placed her husband in—tells Robbo the truth about Matty thanks to her pitiful façade. As Les leaves to see his solicitor, Matty goes back to his cell. When Robbo enters the small space, Matty’s heart stops since he finds out that this thug had spoken to his wife.
When Robbo lets Matty know that he has discovered the truth and the frightening transphobe is closing in on him, Matty is confined to his cage and afraid.
In another scene, Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) is furious and vows to stop Josh and Samson Dingle (Sam Hall) from leaving earlier than planned for their trip to Europe.
When Sam Dingle (James Hooton) argues for his son’s innocence, Moira storms into the Dingles and accuses him of leaving early. He soon persuades Sam to let him go by promising to return before the trial, but Moira is determined to stop him from leaving.
Later in the week, Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) starts to have doubts about Samson’s veracity. She watches as Josh intimidates Samson, forcing him to keep lying to the police. When Moira and Lydia first meet, Moira begs Lydia for assistance, but will she?
Additionally, Manpreet Sharma and Charles Anderson are awkward until she says she has missed him. Will things alter as a result? After Ruby and Caleb make up, he confesses that he wants to seduce Nicky again, but Ruby is adamant that they must let their son go.
Ruby is determined to defeat her nemesis, and when she first meets Rose, Rose tries to back out of their agreement, saying there has been enough drama in the family.
Will Gail’s plan to bring Rhona and Mandy together succeed in mending their differences? Laurel is concerned that Jai hasn’t understood her decision to break up with him while they are in the hospital.
