From 2001 to 2015, Emmerdale actress Annelise Manojlovic performed the role of Gabby Thomas.
After leaving the ITV soap eight years ago, Annelise Manojlovic, who played Gabby Thomas, appears very different from the character.
When Gabby’s parents Ashley Thomas (John Middleton) and Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) brought their daughter home, Gabby first appeared in the Dales.
From 2001 till 2015, Annelise portrayed Gabby until Rosie Bentham took over.
Prior to that, Jemma Giles played Gabby when she was a newborn; however, Annelise took her position since Jemma Giles had trouble settling on a busy set.
Eight years later, Annelise appears practically unrecognizable in a new photo posted on the actress’ social media website.
Annelise wore a white dress with pearls and wrapped her brunette hair up as she posed with a pal.
The former soap opera star and her friend were beaming as they smiled for the camera in front of a house.
Annelise moved on from Emmerdale to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Ballet Performance at the School of Ballet Theatre UK.
Along with singing, she then pursued studies in jazz and tap dancing.
Annelise’s interests are also stated as being in musical theater, cruise ship entertainment, and holiday entertainment.
Rosie Bentham’s departure as Gabby from the ITV series was hinted to by Emmerdale last week.
The Hop and The Hyde were recently placed up for sale, and Gabby told her family and friends that she intended to leave the village once the sale was through.
Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) and Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) have so far expressed a strong desire to purchase the companies.
Gabby is hesitant to sell to Caleb, though, because his son Nicky (Lewis Cope) dumped her on the day of their wedding.
Will the owner of Home Farm be able to do enough to keep Gabby there? Kim Tate (Claire King) has also attempted to blackmail Gabby in the hopes that she and Thomas will remain in the hamlet.
Will Gabby leave the Dales permanently despite her pleadings and threats of legal action?
