Spoilers and news for General Hospital tease There might be a nice surprise in store for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) upcoming nuptials.

Sonny might surprise her by inviting her aunt Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) to the wedding even though they have decided to elope.

General Hospital Spoilers: Could This Be Sonny Corinthos’ Final Gift?

Even if they elope on Sonny’s island in Puerto Rico, bringing Liesl to the wedding might still be Sonny’s final gift to Nina. Recently, Kathleen Gati made a social media hint that Liesl might soon make an appearance.

Shortly after giving Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) bone marrow, she was last observed leaving Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) after an argument.

However, behind the scenes, plans are being made to reveal Nina as the SEC whistleblower, and Sonny won’t like it given that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) almost died in Pentonville!

It makes sense that Liesl would appear since Kin has already made a few appearances and will do so again.

GH Spoilers: Michael And Willow Corinthos Will Also Attend

It has been confirmed that Chad Duell’s character Michael Corinthos and Willow will also be there. A recent episode featured Michael telling Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), his mother, that he had some inside information.

Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), who is searching for the whistleblower, doesn’t remember who he is, so he must have a connection within the SEC.

He was running after hearing Nina say that she was the whistleblower when he tripped on a wet towel by the side of the Metro Court pool.

Ned had previously received criticism for making threats that he never followed through on—it was all just a bunch of hot air, but he was the main suspect.

General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Reeves’ Life Could Fall Apart

If Michael leaks the information during the ceremony, or even if he does so after the vows are exchanged, Nina’s life could come crashing down at her ideal elopement wedding.

Even Liesl could be upset and accuse her niece of schadenfreude given that Drew rescued Liesl from Greenland so she could save Willow.

Of course, that’s a German expression that means “gloating over another’s misfortune” or “malicious joy at another’s suffering,” though Liesl might have a few other choice words for her niece.

When Nina called Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to file the SEC complaint anonymously, she was unaware that Drew had left for Greenland on the rescue mission. Even so, it was an unplanned, impulsive response to Willow leaving her out of her life at a time when Willow’s survival was not expected.
