General Hospital’s Gavin Houston Had A Reunion Of Sorts Right On Set

General Hospital spoilers reveal Portia’s brother Deke getting deeper involved with Jordan, but off-screen he already felt familiar when he arrived on the PC scene.

General Hospital Spoilers: Portia Has An Intriguing New Family Member

Gavin Houston captured the attention of the public earlier this year when he appeared as Deke Robinson, Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) brother. Before his sister was married and then lost a husband on the same day, he showed up for Portia and Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) wedding and then vanished.

He only had a brief appearance, but it was so highly liked that GH brought him back and gave him a plot. He is in town to assist Cameron Mathison’s (Drew Cain’s) legal team in their SEC dispute. He discovered Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), a lady he hadn’t met his first time in town, before he could even meet Drew for the first time. Jordan was upset to find that Curtis had returned to Portia’s home and that she and Zeke had engaged in sexual activity in his Metro Court room without her being aware that he was connected to Portia. She quickly learned, though.

Gavin Houston’s GH Reunion

Houston’s role as Zeke is not his first on GH or on a soap opera, for that matter. He briefly appeared in 2010 as a forensics analyst by the name of Sly, but prior to that, he had a contract part on the now-cancelled Guiding Light as Remy. He made friends with Laura Wright, who plays Carly Spencer, while he was there. She was GL’s Cassie Layne at the time.

He told Soap Opera Digest that it was “amazing” to see her again. ‘You’re back!’ she exclaimed. Yay’’ She knew me when I was maybe 24 or 25 years old, and she is precisely the same person today! It seems as though we simply picked up where we left off. We’ve always gotten along great, and she’s a blast.

Given that Carly is the second defendant in this SEC case and that Drew was prepared to plead guilty and serve time in prison in order to protect Carly, Zeke and Carly are certain to meet paths. Will Zeke be able to convince Drew not to make that error or provide Carly with more sound legal counsel than Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) did? Pay attention to
