The Cardiothoracic Surgeon will grace UK screens in the new year.
The executives of Home and Away have revealed that Tristan Gorey will be appearing in the series as Dr. Levi.
The Bay will debut on UK screens in the new year and on Australian screens in early November. The Australian actor is best known for his breakthrough performance in the critically acclaimed series Mystery Road: Origin.
Levi, who just received his cardiothoracic surgery certification, is coming to Summer Bay and is “racing to save a Home and Away favourite.”
Raised with his parents, elder brother, and younger sister, Tristan was born in Perth, Western Australia. He was able to hone his storytelling and dramatic performance skills while attending the esteemed Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
Tristan became well-known for his role as Texas in the popular Australian criminal mystery series. He has subsequently voiced the Disney+ series Shipwreck Hunters and is set to star in the highly-anticipated feature Kid Snow in 2024.
Following the announcement that Channel 5’s Home and Away will be switching timeslots for the remainder of the year, The Bay’s newest cast member was revealed.
The show will be airing at the slightly earlier time of 1pm on weekdays from Monday, October 30 until the current series ends on Friday, November 17.
This change is a result of Channel 5 beginning its festive coverage, with holiday films scheduled to air from 1.30pm on weekdays in the build-up to Christmas.
Summer Bay fans can expect the show to return to its usual Channel 5 timeslot of 1.45pm on weekdays when the new series launches in the new year, just in time to welcome the newest member of the Home and Away family.
