Remi and Theo hold peace talks after a big row.

The surprise announcement from Theo Poulos that he will remain in the band has given Lyrik new optimism for the future of Home and Away.

In recent Australian pace episodes, the once-solid trio has fallen into disarray, with Kirby Aramoana leaving to pursue a solo career and Theo thinking of doing the same.

After meeting with Forrest Duke, a record company executive who only deals with solo artists, Kirby said farewell to Lyrik.

After Kirby abandoned ship, the other Lyrik members discovered that they would not be allowed to perform any of the songs she had contributed to writing due to copyright laws.

This prevented Lyrik from playing the great bulk of their back catalog, which increased the likelihood that they would end up playing covers at their shows going forward.

After the chaotic few days, Justin decided to put Theo first and arranged a meeting between him and Forrest. Justin attempted to get Forrest to sign Theo as well, but Theo was taken aback.

Remi felt deceived by Theo after seeing this covert rendezvous, and he later lost control and punched him in the face.

Remi’s girlfriend Bree Cameron was shocked by this; coming from an abusive relationship with her husband Jacob, Bree Cameron naturally feels strongly against violence.

Bree told Remi: “I saw an ugly side to you today that I didn’t know existed. That’s not the man I want to be with.”

However, just when it seemed that the chaos could spell the end of Lyrik and Remi’s relationship too, Theo made an unexpected move to restore peace.

Theo told Justin that he wanted to remain in the band rather than becoming a solo artist. He then accepted a sincere apology from Remi, before vowing to stick with Lyrik come what may.

Bree was relieved to see the bandmates make amends, but does this mean the group can salvage their future or are there more twists still to come?
