The star played Ryder Jackson on the soap for five years.

In Home and Away, where he worked closely with legendary actors Ray Meagher (Alf Stewart) and Georgie Parker (Roo Stewart) from 2017 to 2022, Lukas Radovich shot to prominence as Ryder Jackson. The actor, who is now 28 years old, portrayed Alf’s disobedient long-lost grandchild who was busted robbing Hunter King and VJ Patterson.

When he left the serial opera in 2022, the cast members Courtney Miller (Bella Nixon), Sam Frost (Jasmine Delaney), and Harley Bonner all left as well, disappointing fans. (Logan Bennett). The celebrity was appreciative of his time in Summer Bay and referred to it with love as his “home” for five years. He acknowledges to Yahoo Lifestyle that his first day didn’t go as smoothly as he had hoped.

Lukas recalls being introduced as a “bad boy” and having to start filming an intense scene as soon as he arrived on location. Actors Scott Lee (Hunter King) and Matt Little pursued the man across Palm Beach after he was caught stealing. (VJ Patterson).

Scott unfortunately sustained a serious injury when he tugged on Lukas’ jacket to stop him from running away.

I felt very anxious…Scott grabbed my jacket as I was running, and as I turned, his finger got trapped in my denim jacket, causing me to dislocate it. I spent my first day on set filling out incident report papers, so that was that.

The actor continues by saying that on his first day, he initially believed he had “completely bombed,” but Scott was “lovely” about it, and the two have since forged a strong relationship.

Working with Aussie icon Ray Meagher: ‘Took me under his wing’

Lukas can’t speak highly enough of both Ray Meagher and Georgie Parker, both stalwarts in the acting industry. Ray, 78, has been on Home and Away since the first episode in 1988, and Georgie. 58, joined in 2010 after working on All Saints and A Country Practice.

The three of them became close and supported Lukas as he established himself as an actor because they are an on-screen family.

Working with Ray was fantastic. I unmistakably got the impression that he took me under his care and mentored me, the man says. “If he had known I needed assistance, he would have provided it. He’s also just funny. He maintains the set lively and interesting and is a fountain of knowledge.

The star recalled being enthralled by Ray and Georgie’s tales, calling it “one of the most awesome parts” of the job, given their combined years of experience.

Lukas plans to see Rhinestone Rex and Miss Monica, which Georgie is presently starring in, soon. He claims that sharing the stage with her in the future would be a “peak” in his career.

He tells us, “I would love to go on stage with Georgie, that would be incredible. “I’d really like to collaborate with her in a different role. Theater in particular is very solitary, so it’s a very distinct experience.

It would be a very unique experience, but I believe it would be very gratifying.

Lukas’ big career move: ‘Very busy’

Since departing the soap, Lukas has been working on a number of different projects. Dabbling in behind-the-scenes work, he produced a web series, a short film and directed Penelope Pettigrew’s music video BiConic.

He hasn’t lost his passion for acting though, and fans will be able to see him on stage in All His Beloved Children at the Kings Cross Theatre in May.

Frieda Lee wrote the play, which was directed by Amelia Burke, and Lukas calls it a “smorgasbord of comedy, violence, and sexuality.”

He explains, “It’s a modern interpretation of ancient mythologies, and it draws on many various concepts from all over the globe.

It will be a very intimate experience because there are only four or five ensemble members total.

He will then take a flight to Prague in the Czech Republic to put together a performance for the Prague Quadrennial. Only once every four years, artists from all over the globe congregate in the city to participate in the “experimental art festival.”

While he is eager to work abroad, he promises his fans that Australia will remain his home and that he has no plans to permanently leave the country.

“I adore being here. I enjoy the lifestyle as well as my peers, family, and family.
