Home and Away star Kawakawa Fox-Reo is set to leave Summer Bay..
According to 7Entertainment, the 24-year-old actor has chosen to leave the Channel 7 series after three seasons in order to pursue other opportunities.
Fox-Reo has not yet made an announcement on his own behalf; he is currently in Paris.
Before leaving Australia in October, the actor who played Nikau Parata shot his final scenes.
On Facebook fan pages, the young star’s followers have been speculating about his departure from the programme for the previous few months.
“I’m not crying, you’re crying,” one said of the reported news.
“Another one goes. I will miss Kawakawa. Loved his character Nikau. I hope he and Bella leave together,” another said of his on-screen girlfriend Bella Nixon (played by Courtney Miller).
A third said: “It’s a typical, leave after three years, very few young cast go past three years.”
Fox-Reo was known for his jet-black hair – a look he has maintained throughout his time with the Channel 7 drama.
New hairdo
But the 24-year-old made a striking alteration in Beverly Hills by dyeing his hair a bleached blonde at the start of his vacation in October.
In a picture uploaded to Instagram, the actor revealed the new look while giving a peace sign and going shirtless.
The contrast between these details and his newly bleached hair, though, was practically imperceptible.
Fox-Reo also reunited with Ryan Panizza, his former Home and Away co-star, while he was in the US.
Panizza, who played Nathan Silva, finished on the show in June.
Fox-Reo has since posted from Paris, sharing photos close to the Eiffel Tower while holding a glass of red wine.
His blond tips were still in full force as he smouldered at the camera.
