Will Mac reunite with her ex?
In a recent storyline, Mackenzie Booth from Home and Away has been shaken by a flashback.
Akos Armont has been cast in the part of newcomer Gabe Miller, who was revealed to be Mac’s ex-fiancé in Monday’s Australian episode, according to the show’s producers (January 16).
When Mac entered Salt, her restaurant, she saw Gabe waiting for her, and that is when Mac’s new plot began.
Mac, who was now adamant that she didn’t want anything to do with Gabe, quickly called her brother Dean Thompson and requested him to assist in getting rid of the newcomer.
Despite not knowing who Gabe was, Dean obeyed his sister’s request and asked him to leave.
Later, when Dean pressed for information on Gabe’s identity, Mac grudgingly revealed their relationship’s history.
Before coming to Summer Bay to look for Dean, Mac stated that she had been engaged to Gabe for a few years. Mac was shocked when Gabe ended the relationship, only leaving a message explaining himself, even though she had felt it was going well.
Gabe begged for the chance to finally explain why he dumped Mac, calling it the worst mistake of his life, when he met her in person in Summer Bay. Rick Booth, Mac’s evil father, was swiftly identified as the plan’s main architect.
Mac remembered: “I had the outfit. We had our wedding in two months, and you didn’t even have the guts to tell me that. You left a message. Who would harm someone they are supposed to love in that way?”
In response, Gabe “I accepted your father’s $50,000 offer to keep away from you. I shouldn’t have accepted the money, if I could go back in time and change things.”
Mac reaffirmed to him that he was still uninterested: “So you did take it, and you walked away. Therefore, if you are looking for forgiveness from me, you won’t find it here.”
Upcoming episodes see Gabe declare his love for Mac, desperate for another chance with her. Will Mac be prepared to forgive and forget?
