The final goodbye…

They managed to escape a terrifying captivity, but this week will bring even worse because Justin’s death is just hours away.

Leah (Ada Nicodemou) in Home And Away receives devastating news: her fiance Justin (James Stewart) is not expected to survive the wounds he sustained while attempting to flee the abandoned warehouse they were trapped in.

Dr. Bree (Juliet Godwin) informs her that since Justin’s heart damage isn’t getting better, it would be best to say goodbye. Leah finds it difficult to accept the information.
She sobs, “I’m not letting you go.”

Ada, 46, tells TV WEEK that the experience “hits her really hard; she’s devastated.” She is dependent on him… She’s a total disaster.

Bree gets in touch with Justin’s family and urges them to pay one last visit. When Theo (Matt Evans) gets there and realizes how upset his aunt Leah is, he tries to divert her attention by talking about the wedding.

Leah had proposed to Justin while they were stranded in the warehouse, but she later discovered a way out and fled for help.

“It was really hard to get out, and she was weak, but she did,” Ada says. “She was in a bad state and began to hallucinate, but knew she had to try.”

When asked to share what transpired with the police, Leah retorts angrily. The cult responsible for their kidnapping, Vita Nova, is still at large and a threat.

Leah reluctantly has the police interview, but when she returns to the hospital, panics to find Justin isn’t there. In fact, he’s just been taken for scans, but from Leah’s extreme reaction, it’s clear Justin isn’t the only one in a bad way.

When Alf (Ray Meagher) arrives, Leah collapses in her friend’s arms, sobbing for the love she may lose forever. Is this the moment we must say goodbye?
