When Mackenzie finally challenges him, he reluctantly gives them the go-ahead.
Remi, however, departs to spend a few days with his parents since he is sad that everyone is moving on without him.
Bree acknowledges that it is Jacob’s funeral today when Xander questions her about her melancholy.
Bree then gets a ton of supportive messages along with some that accuse her of murder.
Bree resolves to tell Remi that she loves him after reading the letter she wrote the latter.
Remi, however, loses his cool when she approaches him to talk since he believes she’s moved on with Xander.
In the heat of the moment, Bree comments that he reminds her of Jacob; upset, both of them flee.
After Remi’s outburst, Xander corrects him: Yesterday was Jacob’s funeral, and he was standing by Bree.
Remi regrets hearing this but continues to believe that Xander and she are not just friends.
Remi is quietly enjoying himself while watching Lyrik perform, so when Bree enters, he briefly smiles before Xander enters behind her.
He decides it’s too much and departs, but Bree follows.
Remi informs Bree that he is leaving Summer Bay because he can no longer handle being this close to the band and Bree while being unable to have either.
Ziggy is upset that her kid isn’t interacting with her in another place.
The little respite that comes when Dean advises her to unwind and take a bath is short-lived because Ziggy is once again left alone with the infant.
In order to nurse the infant at night while Ziggy catches up on sleep, Dean goes to get breast pumps.
After feeding her and dozing off, Dean wakes up to find himself alone with the infant since Ziggy has vanished.
Mali and Rose join Dean in his search for Ziggy, who he is frantically trying to find.
Although he had no luck at the diner, Roo and Marilyn volunteer to watch the baby for him.
When Justin gets to work, he finds Ziggy dozing in the back of the car.
When Irene offers some advice, Ziggy appears to be in a better place and names the baby Isabella “Izzy” Astoni-Thompson after admitting to Dean that she is struggling.
The following day, Mali responds that he cannot just leave his family and declines Dean’s request to operate the board business.
Dean acknowledges that he will probably shut down the board shop if he doesn’t operate the business.
Rose and Mali settle on going on that date after some awkward talk.
Mali acknowledges during their date that his mother still hasn’t forgiven their elder brother for what he did, therefore his family wouldn’t be thrilled with him leaving away.
Tane, who lives across the Bay, is unsure on how to handle Felicity’s unpredictable behavior.
after discussing with Dean the idea of venting his rage on everyone else. Dean admits that after his automobile accident, he was awful, but Ziggy stood by him and supported him—that’s all he could do.
Tane proposes that Felicity seek counseling, but she no longer wants to talk about it.
When Tane turns around, Felicity hurries to her bottle of alcohol but discovers that it is empty and that Nikau is looking on disapprovingly.
He grudgingly agrees to Felicity’s request that he remain silent.
Nikau chooses to inform Cash and Tane about Felicity’s drinking after seeking counsel from John.
Felicity goes into complete denial when confronted.
She has no defenses, though, when it is discovered that she has bottles in her luggage.
When Felicity gets back to work, she is in a bad mood, but a quick trip to the storage cabinet to fetch a sip of rum cheers her back up.
Felicity’s drinking worsens when the band begins to play at Salt, and Gabe is forced to cut her off because of how she is acting.
After stealing a bottle of liquor from Remi, Felicity discovers that she is by herself and starts to hit the bottle more.
As Eden is getting out of the hospital, a flashback of her and Cash in bed occurs.
Ava, Justin’s adolescent daughter, shows up in the Bay after a quarrel with her mother and it’s immediately apparent that she is a huge fan of the group, and Theo in particular.
