The beloved Channel 7 star shared an emotional message on a special day.

Ada Nicodemou, star of Home and Away, has won people over with her sweet homage to her son Jonah.

In honor of his birthday, the actress posted a number of pictures and videos from their family vacation in Europe.

In an emotional Instagram post on Tuesday, Nicodemou wrote, “Happy birthday my beautiful boy ❤️🎉 so so proud of you, love you to bits and LOVED spending time together away, you’re my light and my heart ❤️.”

Well wishes for Jonah were posted in the comments section by friends and supporters.

“Happy birthday, Jonah 🎂🎉♥️🥳,” Emily Symons, another star of Home and Away, wished him.

“Happy birthday beautiful boy,” a second said.

“Happy Birthday to your beautiful boy mini you,” added another. The birthday tribute came after Nicodemou shared an update about her family holiday to Rome, Italy.“Ah Roma we love you!! It was extremely hot- even for me 😂 but loved walking around the city and just marvelling in her beauty,” her caption read.

“Of course, gnocchi was our first meal after landing.”

The family was pictured eating delectable spaghetti and pizza at the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain.

Following her vacation to Europe, Nicodemou shocked her fans by revealing on Instagram on July 28 that she will not be attending the 2023 Logies.

She released the video in response to her nomination for a Silver Logie award for her performance on Home and Away as Leah Patterson-Baker.

“Hey, how are you all doing? I’m excellent… I have some bad news, so it’s not that good,” she said as she started the Instagram video.

I really enjoy the Logies, therefore it’s terrible news for me that I won’t be attending this year.

“Especially this year, as I have been nominated as well.”

She said, “I’m on a family vacation, so I’m not going to be there, but thank you so much for voting for me and everyone else.”
