Matt Evans, who plays Theo Poulos on Home and Away, has promised “epic” new moments for his character.

Theo has been in the center of the drama in recent weeks as his band Lyrik has broken up since Kirby Aramoana’s departure.

The group feared becoming a covers band as a result of her departure because most of her songs were restricted by copyright. Theo began to doubt his own place in the band as a result.

He eventually decided to stay a member after briefly considering going solo, but Evans has hinted that it won’t be long before his character is back in the middle of things.

He told Inside Soap, “I have an epic storyline coming, so next year is going to be even cooler.” Theo will soon be going through some novel experiences, both physically and mentally, that he has never had before.

Evans, who debuted on the serial in 2021, also discussed his and Theo’s journeys, claiming they had both advanced much since their early appearances.

“It’s very different from when I started – those immature storylines were always quite hard to play because I was older than the character,” he admitted. “I really worked hard to develop my acting style; it’s an important part of developing the character,” the speaker said.

It’s been really amazing that there’s been so much music. We always assumed Lyrik would only be around for a short while before dying out, but it has stood the test of time and is connected with so many other stories, the author continued.
